Our story

The accidental
sauna company.

Chris and Taylor are cousins who each ran boutique wellness studios in Oregon. They wanted real saunas for their clients — but their studios had no room for traditional builds and no 220V wiring to power them.

So they worked with local experts and built their own: compact, full-spectrum, plug-in. Clients loved it so much they asked to buy them for their homes. One-off sales became word of mouth, word of mouth became an online store, and an accident became a mission: a real sauna experience for every space and every budget.

Genuinely easy. The modular design has fewer than ten pieces that fit together like a puzzle. All electrical components arrive pre-wired — you just plug in. One person, one screwdriver, under an hour. It connects to any standard 110V–120V outlet, so no electrician is ever needed.

It's the question we hear most before people try it — and the answer is a confident no. The Sweat Box uses a wide-format design, so once you're seated you have open space on both sides, room to fully stretch your legs out, and plenty of air above your head.
